The Law Must Protect The Right of Every Child - Clifford Omozeghan

Clifford Omozeghian (Esq)
The Director of Legal Services/Company Secretary of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr. Clifford Omozeghian (Esq) has frowned at the high rate of molestation of children in Nigeria he stated that the constitution of the country did not give express protection to the Nigeria child unlike other civilised country of the world. He made this disclosure when the leadership of the African Women Lawyers Association, Nigeria paid him a courtesy call in his office in Lagos. He noted that there is much talk about protection of the female without consideration for the male child, he however adviced that as the world marks Children Day it will be proper that the various selfless gender protection groups continue to agitate for the protection of the rights of of all children.

Responding, The president of the Group, Mrs Mandy Demechi-Asagba said although they were more concerned about the female child because of her vulnerability, it is actually a fact that the law must protect the entire humanity. She however solicited for more more Nigerians to align with their cause in action or kind.
