2 Hours In Traffic With Governor Fashola

Governor Fashola was sighted today in a tight traffic driving through the Ibadan  expressway by Otedola Estate gate inlet, through the Nurudeen Olowopopo Street to Alausa. What surprised me was the humility he displayed by waiting patiently in the traffic for hours and driving along with the traffic. He was seating in a green plain glass Range Rover SUV with a Senior Army General by his side, in country where other Governors run other road users out of the road with ear deafening siren and driving without respect for other road users.

In some other states of Nigeria, the Governors drive  through roads that can be taken for bush paths with high speed, tinted glass cars and siren. This is truly a quality worth emulating by other leaders in our country. We need more Fasholas in Nigeria.

Kudos to Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola.
