I was at the airport the other day and I sighted Edward Frank (Gospel Artiste). Been his fan I walked up to him to say hello, but behold he snubbed and acted as if someone wanted to pounce on him. I was not shocked because this is not the first I was experiencing such. I am always careful when I meet Nigerian celebrities that I like, because you may happily wave at them and they will frown and look at you with disdain. I have also seen Timaya been cheered by his fans and he frowned and walked past them like a Nite Club Bouncer without any cheerful sign in response.
I remember meeting John Fashanu some years ago inside the dinner lounge of The Island Hotel, in Victoria Island, Lagos. He walked up to me to exchange pleasantries, because I was starring at him. What a humble and nice way to appreciate a fan?

I have seen Tu Face Idibia, and D'banj acted nicely towards their fans on several occasions, but I also have seen a countless number of celebrities, TV Personalities, Footballers, Comedians, Nollywood Stars, Musicians etc act primitively towards their fans.

This makes me to wonder if our celebrities do not see the way foreign celebrities behave when the travel abroad for shows or watch them on television stations. Our Celebrities must realise that it is the fans that make them, when you take out your fans your fame will drop like a deflated balloon. No fame exist without supportive fans.
